On December 20, 2017, our company received the “High-Tech Enterprise Certificate,” jointly issued by the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance, the Hunan Provincial State Administration of Taxation, and the Hunan Provincial Local Taxation Bureau. The certificate is valid for a period of three years. As a result, our company has officially joined the ranks of national high-tech enterprises.

According to relevant regulations, within three years after obtaining the designation as a high-tech enterprise, our company will enjoy tax rate preferences prescribed by the state, which will help reduce our corporate tax burden and enhance our economic efficiency. This provides new opportunities for our company to build itself into an innovative enterprise, enabling us to secure greater technological and policy support from the state during our innovation-driven development. In accordance with relevant carbon footprint assessment standards such as GB/T 24040 “Environmental Management — Life Cycle Assessment — Principles and Framework,” GB/T 24044 “Environmental Management — Life Cycle Assessment — Requirements and Guidelines,” and GB/T 24067 “Greenhouse Gases — Product Carbon Footprint — Quantification Requirements and Guidelines,” Hunan Kolin Hant Technology Service Co., Ltd. conducted a carbon footprint assessment of 1 kg of polyester resin (SA9305B) produced by Hengyang Shantai Chemical Co., Ltd. The assessment boundary was defined as “cradle-to-gate.” The assessment results are shown in the table below:

Hengyang Shantai Chemical Co., Ltd. is engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of polyester resins specifically designed for powder coatings. The company is a member of the Coatings and Painting Professional Committee of the China Chemical Society. The company’s energy-saving, environmentally friendly, low-temperature curing polyester resin for powder coatings is its flagship product, featuring independent intellectual property rights. This product effectively addresses the industry challenge of achieving both excellent low-temperature curing performance and superior protective properties at 130°C for coating surfaces on extremely large and heavy workpieces. It fills a critical gap in China’s coating industry—the lack of a viable low-temperature curing process for such large and heavy substrates—thus enabling China to reach an internationally leading level in surface coating technologies for rail transit equipment and construction machinery.
